Job summary

Amcor invites applications for a Field Service Engineer within the CTS group. You will serve as the primary technical liaison at customer sites, supporting filling lines, labeling, and automation applications.

This role blends hands-on field work with office tasks to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Candidates should have an engineering degree and 2–5 years of related experience, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Travel requirements of 75% are required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are required.
• General working knowledge of electrical systems is required.
• Prior mechanical experience with filling lines and equipment is preferred.
• Experience in the plastics industry is desired.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Data-driven problem solving skills using proven techniques are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent Amcor at customer sites, maintaining both customer-owned and Amcor-owned equipment.
• Lead assembly and preventative maintenance of Amcor filling equipment.
• Investigate customer-owned equipment and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Provide technical support and communicate opportunities to plant/corporate levels.
• Support field trials of Amcor packaging and customer product launches.
