Qualifikationen

• A degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred.
• 2-5 years of related work experience or education required.
• Travel requirements 75%.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
• General working knowledge of electrical systems is required.
• Prior mechanical experience with filling lines and equipment is preferred.
• Experience in the plastics industry is desired.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/Power Point).
• Confident, motivated and able to work independently with customers, plants and corporate groups with data-driven problem solving.

Aufgaben

• Amcor representative at customer locations, maintaining both customer-owned and Amcor-owned equipment and performing preventative maintenance.
• Lead in assembly and preventative maintenance of Amcor-owned filling equipment.
• Investigate condition of customer-owned equipment and advise on repair or replacement of worn tooling.
• Assist with customer problems and communicate opportunities to plant/corporate levels.
• Support field trials of Amcor packaging.
• Train customer's employees on proper product use and testing methods for market use.
• Collect data and samples for customer issue analysis or out-of-spec products.
• Lead root cause investigations to resolve issues.
• Validate package performance at customer sites.
