Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve customers at their locations, focusing on filling lines, labeling, and automation applications. The role blends hands‑on field work with office duties and involves frequent travel to customer plants.

You will lead preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and train customer staff on product use and testing methods. Strong mechanical/electrical skills and plastics industry experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• General working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Prior mechanical experience with filling lines and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer equipment and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Lead in assembly and preventative maintenance of filling equipment.
• Investigate and communicate repairs for customer-owned equipment.
• Support field trials and training of customer staff on product use.
• Document visits with full trip reports and data for resolution.
