Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage packaging lines at our Glendale, AZ facility. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on running production equipment, acting as the on-shift controls expert and collaborating with operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI/VFD skills, and the ability to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 night rotation.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience on high-speed production lines.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Willingness to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 night rotation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for packaging equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues and restore production.
- Lead controls projects and mentor maintenance technicians.
