Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to support on-site high-speed beverage lines in Glendale, AZ. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix/CompactLogix), HMIs, VFDs, and motion components, and mentor maintenance staff.

This is a 12-hour night shift (2-2-3), with relocation assistance for qualified candidates and a strong benefits package. Four+ years of industrial automation required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC programming, not just troubleshooting.
• 4+ years of industrial automation on high-speed production lines.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Strong PLC/HMI/VFD/servo/motion and industrial-network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-shift controls expert for automated packaging equipment.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and networks.
• Develop and implement PLC/HMI program changes to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; support commissioning and upgrades.
