Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Regional Engineering Supervisor to support the Senior Engineering Manager by leading Engineering Studies and Protection & Controls initiatives. You will manage, coordinate, and grow the business units, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager for execution.

You will guide a team of engineers, drive pipeline growth with Service Center Managers and Sales, mentor staff, ensure project scope and schedules, and provide timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Vertiv product knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical leadership and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers focused on studies and protection & controls.
• Coordinate with Service Center Managers and Sales to grow pipeline and forecast.
• Manage backlog reviews and ensure timely closure with accountable parties.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings and scheduling communications.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate project status, financials, and regional needs to stakeholders.
• Ensure team training and tool readiness for project execution.
• Monitor costs and margins to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with COE Admin and Service Centers to open, assign, and invoice projects.
