Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Regional Engineering Supervisor in the United States to support the Senior Engineering Manager by leading the Engineering Studies and Protection & Controls teams. You will coordinate strategy, drive growth, and manage activities across service centers and sales, while mentoring engineers and ensuring timely project execution.

The role includes close collaboration with the Manila team, back-office COE administration, and performance reviews to optimize utilization and costs.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Vertiv product knowledge or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical leadership and development abilities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers focused on studies and protection and controls.
• Collaborate with Service Center Managers and Sales to grow pipeline and forecast.
• Conduct backlog reviews and ensure timely closure by assigned parties.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings and communicate schedule changes.
• Contribute to project scope reviews and provide pricing feedback.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate financials, project status and regional needs to stakeholders.
• Ensure staff training and tools are available for success.
• Monitor costs and margin slippage; suggest measures to reduce.
• Coordinate with Manila COE team for project execution tasks.
• Open, assign, and invoice jobs with COE Admin and Service Center Managers.
