Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing seeks a Business Unit Manager (BUMa) for the Pacific Northwest, based in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. You will own the P&L, drive growth, and lead a high-performing team across sales and operations to achieve financial and customer objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of leadership with full P&L, strong negotiation skills, strategic planning, and a proven track record of revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive business leadership with full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience growing revenue and overseeing commercial growth.
• Proven ability to lead operational excellence and drive profitability.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit with an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset and full accountability for sales, operations, profitability, people, and customer satisfaction.
• Own the full P&L, including revenue, profitability, labor, expenses, budgeting, forecasting, and growth objectives.
• Drive commercial growth: sales strategy, proposals, pricing, and market development.
• Develop key customer relationships and ensure delivery on commitments.
• Lead operations, quality, logistics, and service to improve efficiency and capacity utilization.
• Build and retain a high-performing team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure staffing, training, and resource allocation to support current and future growth.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to meet financial and operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company policies.
• Travel up to 25% as needed and collaborate with leadership across Eurofins.
