Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing, Pacific Northwest seeks a Business Unit Manager to drive P&L, sales growth, and operational excellence across Seattle or Portland labs. You will oversee staff, budgets, and partner with corporate teams to deliver on commitments.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business/science/engineering, MBA preferred, and 10+ years of leadership with strong financial acumen. Travel up to 25%; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive business leadership including full P&L management.
• Experience leading commercial growth, sales execution and market development.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate data into strategy.
• Excellent communication with employees, customers, and senior leadership.
• English proficiency and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit with accountability for sales, operations, profitability, people, and customer satisfaction.
• Own the full P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditures.
• Drive commercial growth: sales strategy, new business development, and customer retention.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
• Lead operational excellence across quality, logistics, and service delivery.
• Build and retain a high-performing team with clear expectations.
• Ensure staffing, training, and resource allocation to support growth.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory policies.
