Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Business Unit Manager in the Pacific Northwest, based in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. You will own the P&L, drive revenue growth, lead laboratory operations, and build a high-performance team focused on customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will partner with leadership, implement strategic plans, and optimize capabilities across functions to deliver strong results in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive business leadership with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience leading commercial growth and operational excellence.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit with accountability for sales, operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Own the full P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and growth objectives.
• Drive commercial growth: strategy, new business development, pricing, and proposals.
• Develop relationships with key customers and partners to ensure commitments are met.
• Lead operations excellence across laboratory and related functions; focus on quality and efficiency.
• Build and retain a high-performing team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, training, and resources support current and future growth.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
