Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Life Sciences preferred.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech with sales or cross-functional roles; 2+ years in sales management.
• Sr. level: 8+ years in pharma/biotech with 5+ years in sales management; neuroscience/specialty sales preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams to exceed sales targets and manage performance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Must live within the region and near a major airport.
• Travel up to 80% of the time; may require relocation near a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent; provide regular coaching and performance reviews.
• Set clear expectations and maintain documented follow-up with team members.
• Address performance issues promptly with HR-supported documentation.
• Foster a customer-centric, results-driven culture with key customers and decision makers.
• Recognize high performance and address underperformance decisively.
• Conduct regular in-person field visits to observe sales calls and give real-time feedback.
• Create individualized development plans with each Sales Specialist.
• Coordinate onboarding and continuous skill development with training teams.
• Provide actionable market feedback to Marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with national strategy.
• Manage regional budget and track ROI; adjust as needed.
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to close gaps and seize opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
