Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services NA D&C to act as owner's representative across the full construction lifecycle for Amazon facilities.

You will interface with developers, GC, design engineers, AHJ and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, with ~60% travel and work from corporate offices when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover.
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM), and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Champion safety programs and standards across project teams and AHJ.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from design through construction completion and handover.
• Serve as Amazon's owner's representative and primary integrator between execution teams and internal stakeholders.
• Review construction documents for conformance to building standards and guidelines.
• Identify design conflicts, scheduling clashes, and coordination gaps.
• Assess budgets, schedules, and change requests; negotiate contracts as required.
• Audit contractor performance and ensure resources meet targets; coach project teams.
• Maintain clear communication and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Seek value engineering opportunities and sustainable solutions throughout the process.
