Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services North America Design & Construction to act as the owner’s representative across the full construction lifecycle. You will manage multiple projects, interface with developers and contractors, and ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to standards.

The role requires up to 60% travel nationwide, with relocation assistance possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design through handover.
• 5+ years of negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• Position includes travel up to 60% (Nationwide). A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects from design through construction completion and handover.
• Serve as Amazon's Owner's Representative and primary interface between execution teams and internal stakeholders.
• Review construction documents and specs for conformance to building standards and guidelines.
• Identify design conflicts and schedule clashes; coordinate with other teams.
• Review contractor bids, budgets, and schedules to resolve discrepancies.
• Assess KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
