Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction seeks a Construction Manager to serve as the owner’s representative throughout the full lifecycle of facilities projects, including sortation centers and delivery stations. You will ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence across complex builds.

Responsibilities include interfacing with developers, general contractors, design engineers, AHJ, and internal stakeholders, plus managing budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management).
• 5+ years of experience in construction management / related field.
• 5+ years of project management spanning design to handover and experience negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects from design through construction completion and handover.
• Act as owner’s representative between construction teams, operations, equipment, and IT.
• Review drawings for conformance to standards, manage budgets, scope, and schedules.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure effective vendor management and accountability.
