Job summary

Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team seeks a Construction Manager to serve as the owner's representative in delivering built facilities for the logistics network.

You will manage design review, contractor procurement, and construction execution across the region with a focus on safety, cost control, and schedule oversight. Relocation assistance may be provided and 60% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management spanning design through handover.
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amazon's owner's representative and primary construction integrator across assigned projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from design phase through construction completion and handover.
• Conduct detailed reviews of budgets, schedules, and bid packages; resolve discrepancies.
• Own budget tracking, cashflow forecasting, and cost management.
• Negotiate contracts with developers and general contractors.
