Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Overnight Operations Manager for our Flat Rock, MI store to lead night operations, safety and performance. You will partner with team leaders to execute store plans, drive guest satisfaction and manage payroll, inventory and compliance.

Bring 4+ years of retail leadership, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong financial acumen, and a passion for development and inclusion. This role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members in span of care to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching.
• Identifies talent and engages in career discussions to support staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Conducts candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, aligning with corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity.
• Drives safety and compliance and ensures store condition management and adherence to procedures.
• Ensures Team Leaders provide guidance and assign daily work and training needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
