You will supervise Leads and Team Leaders, be accountable for area operations and financials, including scheduling, shrink, and safety, while upholding the Meijer culture. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Passion to provide industry-leading service.
• Ability to communicate with team members with clear direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to make informed decisions.
• Commitment to a safe working environment and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training, development, coaching and feedback for success.
• Identify talent and support staffing and leadership pipeline strategies.
• Conduct candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities for staff.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, manage budgets, and drive productivity and sales.
• Drive store safety, compliance, and overall condition management.
• Guide Team Leaders in assigning daily tasks and training needs.
