Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Overnight Stocking Manager to lead store operations on-site during nightly shifts. You will focus on team onboarding, training and coaching to ensure successful stocking, safety and productivity.

The role directs Leads and Team Leaders, manages area operations and budget results, and drives process improvements to boost sales while controlling shrink. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of leadership in retail are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial information to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Leads Leads and Team Leaders, driving recognition, feedback and development.
• Accountable for area operations and financial results, including budget and forecasting.
• Ensures safety and compliance, and implements process improvements to maximize sales.
