VOA-NCNN is seeking a part-time Overnight Support Staff for Our Place Shelter in Reno. You will provide compassionate, safety-focused service to residents, support daily operations, and maintain a welcoming environment on a 20-acre campus.

Responsibilities include coordinating meals, housing assignments, and routine upkeep while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to policy. CPR/First Aid and background checks are required.

• Must be able to communicate and comprehend instructions
• Ability to de-escalate crisis situations and assist residents and staff in emergencies
• Must undergo criminal background check and comply with safety standards

Mansioni

• Explain program rules and facilitate observance by residents
• Coordinate meal prep, bed assignments, showers, laundry, and daily routines
• Provide awake shift coverage and maintain an engaging presence on the grounds
• Conduct wellness, safety and sanitation checks during designated periods
• Maintain daily reports and documentation for program operations
• Assist participants with property management and inventory control
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of linens and facilities
• Assist with training and development of new staff
• Support boutique operations and distribution of donated items
• Monitor inclement weather overflow and ensure safety of residents
