Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking an Overnight RN Supervisor for the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift in Connecticut. The role provides clinical oversight and leadership across nursing units, ensuring resident safety and seamless night-to-day transitions.

You will triage, respond to emergencies, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and ensure compliant EMR documentation per DPH and CMS standards.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute.
• Overnight supervision, charge nurse, or similar preferred.
• Experience with EMR documentation and incident reporting (PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight clinical operations across units.
• Act as primary clinical resource for night staff; triage and respond to incidents.
• Conduct nocturnal rounds; monitor care delivery, infection control, meds, safety.
• Coordinate admissions/transfers late night; handoff to day leadership.
• Lead overnight RNs, LPNs, CNAs; foster supportive night-shift environment.
• Ensure EMR documentation complies with DPH and CMS regulations.
