Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Connecticut is seeking an Overnight RN Supervisor (Free-Floating) to oversee overnight clinical and facility operations. This leadership role focuses on high-quality resident care during the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift, providing clinical oversight, triage support, and administrative supervision across nursing units.

You will mentor night staff, ensure accurate EMR documentation, and coordinate admissions and morning handoffs.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC or similar.
• Overnight supervisor/leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical autonomy and decision‑making for night shifts.
• Experience with EMR documentation (PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Overnight clinical supervision across all units during 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Triage and respond to emergencies for night shift staff.
• Conduct nocturnal rounds to monitor care delivery, infection control, meds, and safety.
• Manage late-night admissions, transfers and shift handoffs.
• Lead and support overnight RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Maintain compliant EMR documentation per DPH and CMS.
