Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to plan, direct and supervise team members across departments, ensuring customer service excellence and operational efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will mentor staff, manage staffing and development, oversee P&L and shrink, enforce safety and standards, drive sales, and uphold Meijer's commitment to community and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members with clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning and development paths for team members.
• Disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed service and sales goals.
• Ensure team is trained in all job aspects and required training completed.
