Job summary

Barber National Institute is seeking a Third Shift Residential Supervisor to provide overnight oversight for individuals in Residential Community Homes. You will lead third shift staff, respond to emergencies, and promote person-centered care while ensuring safety, dignity, and well-being.

This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly, with 11:00pm–9:00am shifts, weekend/holiday coverage, and a $19/hour pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor nightly group homes to ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Oversee third shift staff, ensuring alertness and emergency response.
• Support implementation of Individual Program Plans and person-centered supports.
• Respond to medical, behavioral, or safety emergencies and document actions.
• Conduct and review fire drills and safety checks.
• Coordinate communication among staff, coordinators, and families.
• Assist with staff orientation and training requirements.
• Complete documentation and reporting for supervisory follow-up.
• Occasional travel to other locations.
