Job summary

Vinfen is seeking an overnight program assistant to support individuals in a community living arrangement in Connecticut. The role focuses on implementing treatment programs, teaching life skills, and ensuring a safe, clean, and secure environment for persons served.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor and document progress, provide transportation when needed, and participate in trainings. A high school diploma is required and driving is a must; CPR/First Aid/Safety Care certifications are

Qualifications

• Three months to one year experience in a related function.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driving is a requirement for this position with a valid US driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment programs and participate in planning.
• Maintain records and document incidents, programs and activities.
• Provide ADL assistance, including showering, hygiene, dressing and chores.
• Monitor physical and emotional needs and report changes to supervisor.
• Store, administer and dispose of medication per MAC requirements and policy.
• Attend mandated trainings and staff meetings; assist with orientation of new staff.
