Job summary

Vinfen is a nonprofit health and human services organization operating in Massachusetts and Connecticut, seeking an Overnight Counselor to supervise individuals in a community living arrangement. You will support residents, implement treatment programs, teach skills to boost independence, and maintain a clean, safe environment during overnight shifts.

The role requires assisting with ADLs, documenting progress and incidents, providing fire and safety training, and coordinating transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in residential care or similar setting preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within specified timeframe.
• Ability to work with individuals with mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment programs and participate in planning.
• Maintain records and document incidents, progress notes.
• Provide ADL support and safety training; assist with transportation.
• Monitor needs and report changes to supervisor.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, and participate in trainings.
