Job summary

Extended Stay America in Mobile Daphne (AL) is seeking a part-time Guest Services Representative to live on-site in exchange for lodging on a scheduled overnight shift. The role emphasizes courteous, high-quality guest service, key management, and on-call responsiveness within 30 minutes of notification.

You will assist with check-ins/check-outs, maintain records, and provide directions and local information while upholding safety procedures and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience of 1–3 months related work or training is acceptable.
• Friendly, professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Work as GSR and setup & maintain breakfast 5:30 AM–7:00 AM daily.
• Assist guests on check-ins/check-outs and during emergencies.
• Maintain control and safeguard hotel keys; log keys as needed.
• Conduct limited guest check-ins/check-outs, greet/register guests, assign rooms, collect payments.
• Provide property information, hours, and local area directions.
• Log events and postings to guest folios; run reports when needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders as required.
• Be prepared to cover another nearby hotel during staffing needs.
