Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a NSR Suites Part Time team member to respond to overnight on-call needs while the hotel lobby is closed. Live onsite with a provided room, and remain on the overnight schedule to address guest issues within about 30 minutes of notification.

You will work a front-line role handling check-ins/check-outs, keys, safety, and guest services, with opportunities to assist other hotels during staffing shortages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to log events and prepare routine correspondence.
• Proficient English reading and speaking skills.
• Computer skills to input information into hotel systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Friendly, cooperative manner with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Work as GSR and set up breakfast from 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM daily.
• Attend to guests on call for check-ins, maintenance issues, noise complaints and safety.
• Safeguard hotel keys and log them in/out as needed.
• Assist limited guest check-ins/check-outs and collect payments when required.
• Stay current with hotel policies, training, and safety procedures.
• Provide directions about property amenities and local areas of interest.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks and post payments to guest folios.
• Maintain proficiency in location computer systems and software.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders when needed.
• Cover other hotels in the area during staffing needs.
