Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP technology including IP addressing.

• Existing supervisory experience in a high-paced NOC environment.
• Holder of one or more network certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises NOC staff monitoring the network 24x7.
• Manages employee training and development.
• Drives change management and incident management processes.
• Develops procedural documentation and reports on staff workload.

TCP/IP knowledge

Troubleshooting network issues

Command-line interfaces for Juniper, Nokia, and Ciena

Knowledge of voice communications systems

Knowledge of video delivery systems and IPTV

Common test equipment for troubleshooting

Basic Linux knowledge
