Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Glen Burnie to oversee our kitchen operations, ensure top‑notch food quality and service, and lead the restaurant team through opening, prep, and closing duties.

The role requires 1+ year of supervising in a QSR or full‑service restaurant, strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and sanitation. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour overnight premium and the option for both full‑time and part‑time schedules.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of supervising in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure top quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure sufficient stock and aid in supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen operating costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and kept in working order.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with front and back-of-house staff.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met at all times.
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
