Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Reston to oversee kitchen operations and ensure top-quality food and service. The role includes opening, prep, and closing duties, collaboration with chefs, and managing orders while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

The position supports both full-time and part-time schedules, with an overnight premium for hours between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. You will lead a fast-paced team and contribute to cost control and staff development.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure guests receive high-quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication to ensure stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices are followed across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen operational costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and is in good working order.
• Conduct relevant briefings with front- and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met consistently.
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style at all times.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
