Job summary

Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations in Gambrills, ensuring top-notch food quality and service. You will lead team members during openings, prep, and closing duties, and collaborate with the chef leadership team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements include at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant, the ability to work nights and weekends, and a strong focus on safety, sanitation, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in service, opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure top service quality.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and remains in good order.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with front and back-of-house staff.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met and upheld.
• Model a professional and ethical leadership style.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
