Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Gaithersburg to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food and service. The role entails leading a restaurant team through opening, prep, and closing duties, coordinating with the chef leadership team, and managing orders and deliveries.

You will maintain safety, sanitation, and cost controls while coaching staff and upholding standards. The position offers a combined full-time/part-time schedule with an hourly pay rate of $21.00, plus a $2.00

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen operating costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and properly.
• Conduct briefs with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met.
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style.
• Participate in training and development for restaurant employees.
