Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations and maintain top-quality food and service at our Bedstuy/Clinton Hill location. You will lead a restaurant team, coordinate with the chef leadership team, and ensure all orders and deliveries meet our standards.

The role demands at least 1 year of supervision in a fast-paced restaurant, strong leadership and communication, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervising experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure top service quality.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Monitor stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices are followed across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with staff.
• Uphold operating and quality standards and present professional leadership.
• Support training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
