Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations and guest service, ensuring top-quality standards across shifts in Great Neck, NY. The role supports overnight operations, with a focus on staff leadership and adherence to safety and sanitation practices.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of supervision in a fast-paced restaurant, strong communication, and the ability to manage inventory, ordering, and budget guidelines while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure high quality service for guests.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure sufficient stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas and cleaning schedules.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and in working order.
• Provide briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met and uphold professional leadership.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
