Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Night Service Representative (Part Time) to respond to overnight guest needs in a live-onsite role. You will manage check-ins/check-outs, issue room keys, and handle guest requests with courteous, high-quality service while staying within safety protocols.

The position requires rapid response within 30 minutes of notification, strong communication, and proficient use of hotel systems. Lodging is provided, and occasional cross-property coverage may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience
• Ability to respond to overnight notifications within 30 minutes
• Comfort operating hotel computer systems and technology

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests via on-call notifications for check-ins, emergencies, or noise issues
• Maintain control of hotel keys and prevent misplacement or theft
• Log keys in/out and assist with limited guest check-ins/check-outs
• Greet guests, register rooms, assign rooms, issue keys, and handle payments when needed
• Stay updated on hotel policies, safety procedures, and reporting requirements
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders as necessary
• Assist with coverage at other nearby hotels during staffing shortages
