Job summary

The Montgomery County Coalition is seeking a Front Desk Staff Person for night hours. The role focuses on ensuring tenant and visitor flow, monitoring the facility through security cameras, and logging daily activities. You will alert staff to unusual events and assist residents with basic needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with basic computer skills.
• Experience or ability to operate monitoring and surveillance systems.
• Ability to greet clients and maintain logs and records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the flow of tenants and visitors and monitor the facility.
• Greet clients and guests and answer calls, directing to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain and update visitors’ log book and handle mail/packages.
• Monitor cameras and locked entryways; document incidents.
• Notify supervisor of incidents and follow crisis protocol.
• Assist residents with work orders and help maintain reception area safety.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in building walk-throughs.
