The Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a part-time Front Desk Staff for a PRN role to support our job fair on October 5th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2301 Research Blvd, Rockville, MD 20850. The role involves greeting visitors, logging, answering phones, and monitoring security systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, coordinating with staff, and assisting residents with routine tasks while ensuring a welcoming, orderly reception area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required. Minimum 6–12 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operate monitoring and surveillance camera systems.
• Ability to greet clients/guests and maintain visitors log.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with tenants and staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee flow of tenants and visitors; monitor property with security systems.
• Greet clients and manage visitors log book; answer phones and direct calls.
• Monitor cameras and locked entryways; notify supervisor per Crisis Protocol.
• Assist residents with maintenance requests and manage in-house mail/packages.
• Document daily activities in staff log; prepare security alerts and incident reports.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in building walk-throughs.
