Job summary

Topbrassdallas is seeking a Night Auditor to balance nightly revenue and expenses, handle front desk duties during the overnight shift, and ensure smooth hotel operations at night.

You will provide exceptional guest service, perform nightly audits, manage check-ins/outs, and communicate with the next shift to maintain service quality.

This role requires attention to detail, basic accounting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions and balance financials.
• Check guests in and out with proper room assignments and guest requests.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel and local area.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to the management team.
• Monitor hotel security during the night and respond to emergencies.
• Process financial transactions (cash, credit cards) and ensure proper posting to guest accounts.
• Communicate effectively with the next shift and management about ongoing issues.
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization; provide wake-up calls as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic hotel equipment and escalate issues as needed.
