Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Plano property seeks an Overnight Front Desk Clerk who balances room, restaurant and bar daily work, posts and balances charges, and resets systems for the next day.

This role also functions as front desk agent during the shift, greets guests, inputs guest information, codes keys, and assists the Controller with daily reports. The hotel operates 24/7, so shifts vary.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable and payable.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to interact courteously with guests and staff and provide proactive solutions.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency; strong telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Balance daily revenue and settlements; prepare and audit reports.
• Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts; handle payments.
• Greet guests; manage registration and keys; verify guest data.
• Input data and generate daily reports; support Controller as needed.
• Coordinate with front desk and food/beverage operations for closing.
• Maintain files and ensure reports/back-up are filed properly.
