Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk Agent to balance room, restaurant and bar duties, post charges, and prepare daily revenue reports. You will interact with guests, handle check-ins, and coordinate with the restaurant and accounting teams to ensure accurate settlements and file maintenance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer.
• Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English with clear telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar daily work and post and balance charges and settlements.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and audit Micros tapes/journals to breakdown revenue and tips.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances to generate daily reports and balance accounts nightly.
• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
• Assist front desk and restaurant staff to coordinate end-of-shift close and system resets.
• Ensure reports and backups are filed properly and distributed to A/R, A/P and Payroll as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by Controller/Assistant Controller.
