Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk Agent to balance daily room, restaurant, and bar operations. The role includes posting charges, maintaining files, and resetting systems for the next day. You may also serve as a front desk agent during shifts to ensure smooth, friendly service.

Position requires strong arithmetic, accurate data entry, and excellent English communication. The role supports a 24/7 operation with varying shifts and responsibilities across departments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP and settlements.
• Basic math and 10-key by touch proficiency.
• Ability to resolve guest and employee concerns professionally.
• Ability to input and retrieve information on a computer system.
• Proficient English reading, writing and speaking; strong telephone etiquette.
• Ability to observe and respond to emergencies with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar daily work and post/settle transactions.
• Maintain files and reset systems for next day operations.
• Greet guests and provide accurate information about hours and local attractions.
• Register guests, code keys, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Verify and imprint credit cards; handle cash and vouchers up to house bank.
• Answer telephone promptly; forward messages and requests to the appropriate team.
• Ensure reports and backups are complete and filed, and assist others as needed.
