Job summary

Fairmont Breakers seeks an Overnight Front Office Manager to lead a high-performing overnight team, optimize occupancy and revenue, and ensure seamless guest registration and checkout.

The role requires frontline leadership experience in a luxury hotel, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex guest requests while upholding service standards. Multilingual abilities are a plus; 75k+ USD salary range reflects market norms for Long Beach.

Qualifications

• 2 Years of leadership experience in hotel Front Office required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Ability to speak Spanish is an asset.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
• First Aid CPR certification an asset.
• Proficiency with systems, namely Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive work environment for overnight team members.
• Review arrivals, VIP and special requests; ensure pre-registration and proper room blocks.
• Review room availability and status of departures daily.
• Manage Front Office to maximize occupancy, revenue and average rate.
• Forecast daily room revenue and labor vs business levels.
• Communicate pertinent information across Front Desk and rooms division.
• Supervise and mentor Front Desk Agents for proper registration and checkout.
• Ensure accurate reporting and payroll processes.
