Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to work the overnight shift at the front desk of a hotel. You will ensure the quality and integrity of the establishment, handle bookings, upsell to generate revenue, and provide excellent guest service while maintaining security and liability standards.

Responsibilities include balancing daytime accounts, processing check-ins/outs, and coordinating with housekeeping to prepare rooms on time.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand, read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and team members.
• Must be familiar with computer operation and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Balancing accounts from day shift.
• Welcome guests and assign rooms.
• Manage front desk activity and check-ins/outs.
• Inform about payment methods and verify IDs.
• Register guests with stay details.
• Schedule wake-up calls and guest requests.
• Respond to guest complaints professionally.
• Create invoices and checks for vendors and staff.
• Maintain documentation for the role.
• Ensure end-of-day activities are completed.
• Answer booking inquiries and provide information about rooms, rates and amenities.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
