Job summary

MCR Hotels is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Agent to provide quality guest services during the night shift, including registration, check-out, PBX operations, and guest assistance. The role requires at least one year of front desk or customer service experience and the ability to work 10:30pm–7am, standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Candidate should demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, working with diverse guests.

Qualifications

• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work 10:30pm to 7am, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for entire duration of shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• One year minimum job-related experience in front desk or customer service.
• Ability to prioritize, identify problems, and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the check-in process.
• Input and retrieve information from the computer and PMS system.
• Confirm guest information, room assignment, code electronic keys.
• Provide information to guests about hotel amenities and local area.
• Assist guests with check-out.
• Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel information including room categories and promotions.
• Answer and manage phone calls efficiently.
• Resolve guest inquiries and requests promptly.
• Handle guest complaints and negotiate solutions for satisfaction.
• Receive, retrieve, and relay messages and packages to guests.
• Complete all pick-up and drop-off runs as assigned.
• Assist guests with luggage and familiarize them with facilities.
