Qualifications

• 1+ year veterinary technician experience (ER preferred)
• Strong phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing skills
• Comfort with fast-paced, emotionally charged situations

• Experienced/credentialed technicians encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and owners, take weight and vital signs
• Triage patients and assist with treatments and medications
• Calm and soothe anxious patients
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs
• Operate and maintain hospital equipment and recordkeeping
• Bath and groom overnight patients and ensure clean release
• Maintain hospital safety and wellness regulations
• Carry out directions from DVM/LVT and other duties as assigned
