• At least 1 year of veterinary assistant experience; ER experience preferred.
• Proficient in phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing tasks.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, emotionally charged settings.
• Willingness to train and grow in ER/ICU responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet pets and owners; record weight and vitals.
• Triage, exams, treatments, and medications under supervision.
• Assist doctors with medications and restraint.
• Perform labs and radiographs.
• Maintain equipment and sanitation.
• Complete documentation and proper drug logging.
• Communicate with clients and educate on wellness plans.
• Support hospital operations and product/services.
