Job summary

New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician for the 3rd shift (overnight) in Windsor, CT. The role supports hospital operations with dedicated patient care, triage, and critical emergency procedures.

Sign-on bonus up to $1,000 is offered based on experience as a credentialed veterinary technician. Ideal candidates have 1+ year ER veterinary technician experience, CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT preferred, and a strong team mindset for fast-paced, high-stakes

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year of veterinary technician experience (ER preferred but not required).
• CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize patients.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood.
• Run in-house diagnostics and monitor critical patients.
• Administer medications, CRIs, and blood products.
• Provide clear, compassionate updates to clients.
