Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center in Windsor, CT is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician for the 3rd shift (overnight) to join our team and deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include triage, exams, anesthesia support, ICU nursing, med administration, and clear updates to clients. 1+ year ER experience preferred; CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year veterinary technician experience (ER preferred)
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or LVMT preferred
• Comfort with fast-paced, emotionally charged situations

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize patients
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, run in-house diagnostics
• Monitor critical patients and assist with emergency procedures
• Administer medications and blood products
• Provide clear, compassionate updates to clients
• Maintain a clean, safe ICU environment
