Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in our residential programs. You will provide daily living skills training and support within home and community settings, including occasional overnight duties.

You will coordinate with guardians and stakeholders, maintain detailed records, and comply with MAP, DDS, DMH and CARF standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
• Experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living during day, evening and/or overnight hours.
• Create opportunities for individuals to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in daily service delivery.
• Administer medications according to MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain daily progress notes, shift checklists and documentation as required.
