Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities live independently within residential and community settings. You will support daily living activities, provide supervision, and train for skill-building while ensuring safety and well-being.

The role includes required training, record-keeping, and collaboration with guardians and staff to deliver person-centered services in line with Bridgewell policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years in similar role may be accepted.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with activities of daily living during day, evening and overnight hours.
• Foster independence and facilitate decision-making.
• Maintain documentation per DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications as applicable and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Develop positive relationships with guardians and family members; participate in meetings and supervision.
